The first of the now great Blade family, the
Blade 1.9 will offer great performance in almost all flying conditions. Once
used to its flying
behaviour you will realize that you may "stay up" on even the lightest
thermals, and when the conditions improve you will be pleased by
the speed it may gain and maintain. Specially suited for the lover of fast
flying models, its rock solid one piece wing with the special modified RG
15 profile will permit you to fly in all weather conditions and is perfect
to start Dynamic Soaring practice or to learn how to use the camber
changing mix offered by modern computer radio.
The one piece wing (for higher strength) is
manufactured in fibreglass with carbon spar and reinforcements; the fuselage
is in fibreglass with carbon reinforcement; the V-tail made in fibreglass
with carbon reinforcement is made in one piece for higher strength and is
easily removed from the fuselage for transport.
The model needs 6 micro servos (2 ailerons, 2 flaps, elevator and rudder)
and a transmitter capable of dealing with 4 servos wings and Vtails. We
strongly suggest the use of a good quality receiver.
Available on request also in full carbon version (this one is slightly
heavier and most suited to strong flying conditions) with ballast tube; it
is also possible to ask for a standard model with carbon-kevlar fuselage
