The whisper has for a few years been our most
sold model worldwide, and there are many reasons for this. It is a high
performances all moulded model, that reaches a very high efficiency in
flight while maintaining the easiness of flight of a good trainer. Its low
wing loading let it stay up on the lightest thermal, while the strong
structure make it able o perform the wildest aerobatics as soon as the
conditions start to be good. You may even add ballast in the ballast tube in
the wing, should the flying condition become extremely windy : the whisper
is really THE model for all the flying place.
The wing is in two piece for an easy transport, is fully moulded in
fibreglass with carbon reinforcements, and uses the all purpose SD 7037
profile, slightly modified to suit our needs. The fuselage is in fibreglass
reinforced with carbon and is able to resist to slope flying and to bungee
launching. V-tails are now all moulded, light and strong and easily removed
for transportation.
The Whisper will need 4 servos (2 ailerons, elevator and rudder) and is
suggested to use a transmitter with V-tail mix capability.
It is available also the version with flaps, specially suited to those
flying in slopes with a narrow landing place.
On request it is available also a special carbon-kevlar fuselage.
